MIKE HUDSON owns Hudson Hardware, the jewel of downtown’s business resurgence. Founded in 1880, Hudson Hardware fulfills all your hardware, boot, board game, hot dog, lawn mower, greeting card and espresso needs. It’s running this bedrock Great Haven institution that formed Hudson’s political philosophy: Great Haven is a great place for Great Havenites; all others need not apply. Hudson, who is married and has a daughter, believes in the power of free markets and impregnable borders. His extensive business and civic connections within the community gives Hudson & Gaines unfettered access to Great Haven's movers and shakers (except for Mayor Karl, at least so far).
CRAIG GAINES is an adjunct instructor at Great Haven Community College. He holds a bevy of associate’s and bachelor’s degrees from various Tricounty educational institutions. He hopes his lack of a master’s or Ph.D. won’t prevent him from attaining his ultimate goal: becoming a tenured professor at GHCC. Gaines, who was raised a secular Mennonite, believes Great Haven is only as strong as its weakest inhabitant (perpetually, the bog newt). He supports a comprehensive, multidisciplinary, holistic approach to tackling the ills that ravage Great Haven and the Tricounty: homelessness, environmental degradation, a rapacious business class, and Troutown. The Great Haven Gaines envisions features bountiful green space, a lush tax infrastructure, free jobs for all, and unionization of the city's homeless.
MICAH MUZIO produces Hudson & Gaines, adds his own brand of youthful commentary, and creates all ad spots and original music for WBFK. He’s known in the Great Haven underground for fronting Micah Muzio’s Death Race, which rose from the ashes of Crucifixxx. Most recently, Micah has added the title of music producer to his resume, helping up-and-coming Great Haven bands record and promote their music. Look out, Los Angeles, thanks to pioneers like Micah Muzio, Great Haven is set to take over as the heart of the American music scene.
